County Technical Assistance Service - County Officials Directory

CTAS Reference Materials

Over the years CTAS has published numerous manuals, technical publications, and other written materials to assist county officials in the performance of their duties. These publications covered every facet of county government in Tennessee. CTAS is moving towards providing publications electronically to facilitate keeping reference materials current and always available to county officials. Publications that may be downloaded and printed are listed under Other Information. Counties should consult their CTAS county government consultant and/or their county attorney for definitive guidance.

e-Li Reference Library

The CTAS e-Library, or e-Li, is an information repository with content of interest to county officials. Content is organized under the following topics: Accounting/Budget/Finance, County Offices, County Operations, Elections, Open Government, Personnel, Public Safety, Purchasing, Records Management, Revenue, and Structure of County Government. Information can be reached through the drop-down menu or through the comprehensive search feature found on every page. The same information that CTAS distributed in publications is now available through e-Li. By publishing the information electronically, CTAS is able to provide county officials with accurate answers to their questions in a timely manner. Click HERE to visit e-Li.
